It was just a good pick for a cursory stop in Islamorada with great value for the money. The charming decor in the houseboat made it feel cozy and unique. Bring extra towels if you prefer a fresh scent.

Cozy moments on the water

Staying on the boat was good! We loved the charming decor. Watching fish swim by from the deck was a highlight of our trip.

We faced some issues with hot water in the shower, made collections of sea adventures a bit uncomfortable at times.

Upon arriving, the houseboat had a strong odor of smoke, quite off-putting. Even after bringing it to their attention, the initial boat was not cleaned properly. Though we were upgraded to a newer houseboat that was much nicer, the lack of professionalism from staff at check-in left me feeling uneasy.

The boat was subpar, to say the least. The broken patio door let in more flies than i could count, and the curtains, if they even qualified, offered no privacy whatsoever. Honestly, i expected to at least get a complimentary upgrade after all the hassle, but no such luck. Absolutely disappointing experience, just couldn't believe it.

The houseboat concept was charming, offering anice and neat stay that certainly allowed for great wildlife viewing from the back deck. Watching fish swim by while sipping free coffee made mornings good. There were some amenities lacking, as it would have been beneficial to have a grab bar for safety and some additional towels. The shower's hot water was inconsistent.

We loved the whole houseboat concept at treasure harbor. It was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Sitting on the back deck while watching the water and wildlife was a highlight. Dallas was super helpful during check-in too. Plus, there are great restaurants nearby.
